21-22 mai arrangeres det workshop i Oslo (SATS Akersgata) med Dean Somerset og Tony Gentilcore. Temaene er skulder- og hofte/rumpetrening!
Styrkecoach Eirik Sandvik har hatt gleden av å møte dem begge, og inviterte dem likegodt til å ta en tur til Norge for å holde et seminar på områder de har mye innsikt på – nemlig skuldre og hofter.
Dette er områder som skaper problemer for de aller fleste som trener, så det å få opp øynene rundt disse temaene er et smart valg.

Day One:
8:30am – registration opens
9:00am – opening welcome – lecture
9:10 – Shoulder anatomy & assessment considerations – lecture
10:00 – shoulder assessments, key points, & case studies – hands on
12:00 lunch
1:00 – corrective strategies based on assessment outcomes. Specifically looking at throwers & overhead athletes, as well as common injuries & conditions. Time spent on thoracic mobility, shoulder positional awareness, goal outcomes – hands on
3:00 – Performance coaching. How and when to involve higher threshold patterns as well as intensities required for strength & speed improvements. Med ball work, pressing, carries, and pulling movements – hands on
5:00 – final question period for Day One
Day Two:
8:30am – registration opens
9:00am – Short review of Day One concepts – lecture
9:10 – Hip & Core anatomy & assessment considerations – lecture
10:00 – Hip & Core assessments, key points, & case studies – hands on
12:00 lunch
1:00 – corrective strategies based on assessment outcomes. Specific time spent looking at squat, hip hinge and lunge patterns plus how they relate to common activities and sports – hands on
3:00 – Performance coaching. How and when to involve higher threshold patterns as well as intensities required for strength & speed improvements. Deadlifts, Squats, explosive speed work, plus reactive stabilization will be covered.
5:00 – final question period for Day Two and workshop wrap up.
